Perfect location. right in the heart of Cusco, overlooking the cathedral. The breakfast spread was delightful, with fresh fruits, eggs, and great coffee. plus, the staff was very accommodating and helped us plan our tours.

The stairs may be a bit of a workout. and some items in the breakfast could use a touch more variety.

Great Wi-Fi and helpful staff for luggage storage. No pets allowed, which was fine.

i was absolutely thrilled to stay here but quickly realized the constant street honking went right through until 4am. the breakfast was decent, but definitely could've been more lavish. also, no one offered me a room upgrade to compensate for the noise, which was just rude. how hard is it to treat your guests like royalty?

Staying at El Virrey was a joy. The balcony view overlooking Plaza Mayor was simply breathtaking, making mornings unforgettable. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, accommodating our early arrival with a warm welcome.

However, the street noise at night was a challenge, especially on weekends, with honking until the early hours. We also found that breakfast could use a bit more variety to make it truly outstanding.

The balcony suite offered an insane view of the main cathedral. Super clean, comfy rooms, and a great vibe overall.

The rooms felt outdated, and the cleanliness was questionable—especially the bathroom, which had a lingering unpleasant odor. Also, the noise from the surrounding streets was quite disruptive during the night, which affected our sleep quality.
