Stayed at a hostel in a great location, close to the waterfront and plenty of restaurants and bars. the staff at Flying Dog Hostel were excellent and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They were always attentive to our needs and even showed us how to make ceviche. the rooms were comfortable, with air conditioning and a spacious layout. the kitchen was also a highlight, with plenty of room for everyone. the lobby was spacious as well, providing a great place to relax.

The Flying Dog Hostel in Iquitos is a fantastic place to stay. The facilities are clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxation. They offer a range of amenities including comfortable beds, great showers with temperature control, and a well-equipped kitchen. The hostel also has two large and clean fridge freezers, which is convenient for storing any food or drinks. Additionally, the staff are very helpful and provide useful information about boats and tours in the area. As people who enjoy karaoke and casinos, we were thrilled to find out that there are karaoke nights and a casino nearby!

Felt it like being home, nothing to complain about.

The staff at this hostel are incredibly caring and go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and well-being. They provide separate rooms with attached bathrooms and even bring you tea, lunch, and medicine when needed. It truly feels like a home away from home. The location is conveniently close to the city center and the common spaces are comfortable and inviting. The breakfast served is a standard Peruvian breakfast which includes toast, butter, marmalade, eggs, coffee/tea, and juice - a great start to the day!

The showers can be a bit problematic as there was no warm water during my stay and some of them were missing hangers.
