The staff at Sumaq truly went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. They greeted me by name upon arrival and provided a refreshing drink and complimentary appetizers. The room was impressive, clean, and had a stunning view of the river. The dining experience was exceptional, with high-quality food and knowledgeable staff. The hotel also provided complimentary breakfast and dinner. the service and experience at Sumaq exceeded my expectations.

The staff at Sumaq were incredibly polite and helpful. They made calls for us and sorted out things in Lima. the hotel amenities were excellent and well worth the money. the restaurant was absolutely spectacular, and we enjoyed dinner there twice. the hotel also organized a cooking class for us, which was great. the facilities were excellent, and the staff quickly handled luggage pick-up and drop-off at the train station.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel, located next to the raging river on muddy streets. Despite the initial impression, the hotel's location was actually quite convenient, close to everything we needed, including the bus stops for Machu Picchu and the bus station. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the river. The bathroom was well-appointed, and we were welcomed with sweet treats in the room. The service was exceptional, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast offered a great selection of high-quality food, and the hotel had a comfortable bar area for relaxing.

The dinner menu could use a bit more variety.

The buffet breakfast has a wide selection and the afternoon cocktail is a delightful bonus. The hotel provides comfortable rooms, including options for larger families. The proximity to the bus stop for Machu Picchu is convenient.

The bar closed after 10 pm, making it difficult to get a drink in the evening. Additionally, the check, out time of noon was inconvenient, especially after hiking to the nearby attraction.

I had an incredible stay at a hotel in Aguas Calientes recently. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with a warm greeting and a refreshing welcome drink. The room was clean and comfortable, and the turn-down service was a pleasant touch. One highlight was the cooking demonstration, where I learned how to make a delicious Pisco Sour and vegetable ceviche. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of options, and they even packed a food bag for my trip to Machu Picchu. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as noise from the neighboring areas and limited channel offerings on the cable TV, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations.
