We had an amazing and unique experience staying at Cesar's lodge on the floating island in Lago Titicaca. the totora-made guest rooms were clean and beautifully decorated with a peaceful lake view. Cesar and his family were friendly and helpful, providing hot water for showers and offering activities to learn about Uros' life, such as visiting the community and rowing the totora-made boat. Cesar shared fascinating insights into building floating islands and the importance of totora. It was a truly immersive and recommended experience for anyone interested in the Uros culture.

I recently stayed at Uros Samarana Uta Lodge for a relaxing getaway and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with a stunning view of the lake. The host, Cesar, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, organizing taxis and taking us on a tour of the community. The meals were delicious and filling, and the hosts were always attentive to our dietary needs. If you're looking for an authentic and tranquil stay away from touristy areas, I highly recommend Cesar and Lucia's lodges.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the peaceful and authentic experience at this lodge. The fact that it is run by real natives of the Uros Islands was a huge plus for us. The lodge only has 4 rooms, making it a cozy and peaceful place to stay. The hosts, Cesar, Lucy, and their daughter, were incredibly warm and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was beautifully decorated and surprisingly cozy with plenty of blankets and a hot water bottle to keep us warm. All activities and meals were included in our stay, including a cultural trip to another island, kayaking, and even dressing in traditional attire. The views were breathtaking and being away from the touristy areas added to the overall authenticity of the experience.

Loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The lodge had a warm and welcoming vibe, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. We were treated to tasty and filling meals that left us feeling satisfied.- The location was perfect for our Christmas getaway. We enjoyed stunning views of the surrounding scenery and were in close proximity to key attractions and activities.

We had a negative experience during the tour of the local community. We felt pressured to buy overpriced souvenirs and were followed around aggressively when we declined.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the lodge run by Cesar and his family. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and organized everything seamlessly. We were picked up from our hotel in a timely manner and enjoyed a scenic boat ride to the lodge. Cesar took us on a boat tour of the community and taught us about the Uros culture. the room was clean and cozy, the food was delicious, and the views of the city lights at night were breathtaking. We highly recommend this lodge for an authentic and cultural experience.
