We had an amazing and unique experience staying at Cesar's lodge on the floating island in Lago Titicaca. the totora-made guest rooms were clean and beautifully decorated with a peaceful lake view. Cesar and his family were friendly and helpful, providing hot water for showers and offering activities to learn about Uros' life, such as visiting the community and rowing the totora-made boat. Cesar shared fascinating insights into building floating islands and the importance of totora. It was a truly immersive and recommended experience for anyone interested in the Uros culture.

I recently stayed at Uros Samarana Uta Lodge for a relaxing getaway and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with a stunning view of the lake. The host, Cesar, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, organizing taxis and taking us on a tour of the community. The meals were delicious and filling, and the hosts were always attentive to our dietary needs. If you're looking for an authentic and tranquil stay away from touristy areas, I highly recommend Cesar and Lucia's lodges.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the peaceful and authentic experience at this lodge. The fact that it is run by real natives of the Uros Islands was a huge plus for us. The lodge only has 4 rooms, making it a cozy and peaceful place to stay. The hosts, Cesar, Lucy, and their daughter, were incredibly warm and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was beautifully decorated and surprisingly cozy with plenty of blankets and a hot water bottle to keep us warm. All activities and meals were included in our stay, including a cultural trip to another island, kayaking, and even dressing in traditional attire. The views were breathtaking and being away from the touristy areas added to the overall authenticity of the experience.

The friendly owner, Cesar, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The lodge offers interesting activities and even managed to provide 4G internet connection.

Mind-blowing experience staying on a Reed Island in the middle of Lake Titicaca! Surprisingly comfortable facilities, with a cozy double bed and beautiful views. The food was immense, with 2 x 3 course meals per day. Caesar and his family were super friendly and accommodating. Authentic and original experience, perfect for those who appreciate comfort over luxury.

The lodge has amenities like solar panels for electricity, private sinks and composting toilets in each guest room. The large windows offer beautiful views and the food was delicious. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a lovely location. The hotel facilities were clean and parking was convenient. The hotel is situated in the beautiful Glencoe area between large peaks with some snow cover still visible during my stay. The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their face. The breakfast served was excellent.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the lodge run by Cesar and his family. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and organized everything seamlessly. We were picked up from our hotel in a timely manner and enjoyed a scenic boat ride to the lodge. Cesar took us on a boat tour of the community and taught us about the Uros culture. the room was clean and cozy, the food was delicious, and the views of the city lights at night were breathtaking. We highly recommend this lodge for an authentic and cultural experience.

The lodge offers free continental breakfast, free parking, and even a daily manager's reception. I was thrilled to try my hand at beach volleyball, canoeing, and fishing all in one place. Talk about an action-packed vacation!

Spent Xmas at this hotel and two things I really enjoyed were the breathtaking views of the lake and the cozy atmosphere of the room. the location was perfect, being surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains. Another advantage was the delicious food served by the friendly staff, it really added to the festive spirit.

Although the hotel had a nice ambiance, the room could have been cleaner. There were some dust and cobwebs that could have easily been cleaned.
