The room was nicely done and both the bed and bathroom were comfortable and clean. the breakfast spread was impressive with a lot of local options to try. As for location, it was in a great spot for exploring the city by foot.

There were a few things that made the stay less enjoyable. the staff was not very accommodating, either with unresponsive service or lack of willingness to help with bags.

I had a great time at 1898 Hotel Colonia En Las Filipinas. The hotel was modern and had all the amenities I expected. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. My room was clean, tidy, and well decorated. The location was perfect for enjoying the nightlife in Makati/Maila. I highly recommend this hotel.
