We had a fantastic Whale Shark experience organized by the hotel. They also arranged direct transport to Bohol for us, making our trip so much easier. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, and set overlooking the beautiful sea. The sitting area for the restaurant was a great spot to enjoy a meal. We were even taken into the next town to exchange money and visit a pharmacy. I recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

This hotel is an absolute gem! the location is just perfect – right on the water's edge, with a peaceful beach just steps away. The rooms offer a large sea view, and I was lucky enough to have a room with a perfect sunrise spot right in front of my window. The attention to detail is impressive, with an absolutely lovely shower and a bigger bed for extra comfort. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing great service throughout my stay. The basic amenities were all in place, and breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.

All in all, everything was fine.

Our stay at Down South was truly value for money. The room was clean, spacious, and had a great ambiance. The complimentary Christmas ham and wine were a nice touch. the location was great for whale shark watching and the beach was beautiful. the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning was extremely noisy and made it impossible to sleep. the Wi-Fi was weak and only worked in the restaurant area.
