I had an incredible time at Mad Monkey Hostel in Siargao. the staff really made a lasting impression on me. It was amazing how they made an effort to remember everyone's names, even if they hadn't met before. the friendly and lively atmosphere created by the staff made it easy to make friends and have a great time. the hostel itself was also fantastic - clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, fans, and lockers. the dorms had effective AC and the bar was a lot of fun, with different activities and even a half-hour of open bar each evening. the food served was also delicious. I can't wait to come back!

We had an incredible 21-day stay at Mad Monkey on Siargao Island. the spacious social area was perfect for meeting new people and joining in on the nightly activities hosted by the legendary Riza. the staff, including Manuel, were all super friendly and helpful, making us feel like valued guests. the bar staff, Ron, Jessie, Ina, and Eliza, were also amazing. We made lifelong friends with fellow guests KATH, JONATHAN, and CRISTIAN, and the day trips and parties were unforgettable. Mad Monkey provided an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend it and return in the future.

Showers lacked warm water.

For those looking to work remotely, the hostel had a decent internet connection. The big, comfortable beds were perfect for a good rest after a surf session.

This hostel is the perfect spot to meet great people, party hard, and have a good time in Siargao. The hostel offers clean facilities, delicious food, and is conveniently located near General Luna and Cloud Nine for surfing and sunset watching. Activities are organized daily, making it easy to make friends and never be bored.

La posizione è fantastica, a due passi dal mare e dal centro della città. Il parcheggio è comodo e gratuito presso l'ex ilva a soli 500 metri dalla struttura. L'hotel è sempre ben climatizzato e le camere sono di design, pulite e bellissime. La colazione è ricca e variegata, con torte fatte in casa e bevande calde e fredde. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile, sempre sorridente.

Had the most amazing time! Loved the atmosphere, it's a great place to chill, party, and meet new friends. The staff were genuinely welcoming and very accommodating. Special shoutout to Adi for going the extra mile and giving me a ride when I couldn't get a TukTuk. The food and drinks were great, and the place is close to the beach. The rooms were clean, with comfy beds and massive lockers. Plus, there was stable internet connection and a backup generator.

There are a few downsides. First, everything is pricey, from the food and drinks to the tours.

The reception staff, Abby Correos, Salba Nitz, and Steven Liza, were incredibly happy and made me feel part of the Mad Monkey family. The bar staff, Elisa Delgado and Joseflor Bernales, were always helpful and made sure I had a great stay. The kitchen staff, Roberto Mesa, Jaime Madera, and Benz Suyman, made delicious meals that felt like a 5-star food resort. The entertainers, Josh and Jack, were kind, respectful, and a lot of fun. The hostel overall had an amazing vibe and I can't wait to go back!
