i stayed here recently after a not-so-great time in manoc-manoc, and surfside exceeded my expectations. the beach was pristine. The staff was genuinely attentive and helpful. the japanese restaurant served delicious meals, and the complimentary breakfast offered various tasty options during my stay.

the bedside power outlets weren't functional.

Quiet retreat with great food

Surfside Boracay Resort truly felt like a hidden gem. Nestled at the quieter end of White Beach, my mornings here were spent sipping coffee while enjoying the mesmerizing ocean view. The staff was exceptional. they greeted us every day with warm smiles and ensured we were well taken care of. I particularly loved the Japanese restaurant on-site, where delicious and authentic meals were served up that made dinners unforgettable. The clean, roomy accommodations, with a large balcony perfect for evening relaxation, added to our wonderful stay.

However, there were a few bumps. The Wi-Fi was hit-or-miss, making it difficult to stay connected at times. Plus, our room could use some maintenance. the safe wasn't working, and there were no extra amenities like a mini bar. I also noticed the karaoke next door could get a bit loud during the day, which disrupted the peaceful vibe. Yet, despite these minor issues, the atmosphere remained soothing, and the overall experience was definitely enjoyable.

The Jr Suite Sea View was spacious and clean but felt a bit dated. The huge balcony was a plus, perfect for evening relaxation. No mini bar, so bring your own drinks. I liked that the safe wasn’t working—it felt safer not to worry about locking anything away, and no bugs were around, which was nice. Fabulous breakfasts on the beachfront made up for it! Great for a chill stay without the party scene nearby.

Spending time at this hotel was a delightful experience, especially enjoying homemade rolls at breakfast and the authentic Japanese meals in the restaurant. The clean and well-appointed rooms came with comfortable beds, and having a large balcony to relax on was a real bonus. While the room decor may be a bit dated, the perfect beachfront location made it all worthwhile with spectacular ocean views. However, it would be great if the hotel improved the Wi-Fi connectivity to make it more reliable for guests.
