We had a fantastic stay at Crown Hotel Wetheral in Carlisle. The room was spacious and warm, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was tasty with a great selection. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel's location in the beautiful village was perfect for exploring. We can't wait to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower room facility. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant, which had a very high standard of food and service. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The hotel facilities, including the gym and pool, were superb. The location of the hotel in the Eden valley was perfect for exploring the local area, with nice walks by the railway and river. The staff were fabulous and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

I recently stayed at the Crown Hotel in Wetheral for a weekend getaway. The location, just off the M6, was perfect for easy access. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The bar area, both inside and out, was well-designed and inviting, and the food and drink options were of a high standard. The deluxe double room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a very large and comfy bed. The bathroom was luxurious, with complimentary bath salts and gel for the spa bath. The breakfast, served in a charming garden breakfast room, was exceptional. my stay was fantastic and exceeded my expectations.

Arrived at 2pm, checked in at 3pm. Nice bar with good drinks. Mains were great, sweets were small. Room was nice, had a good sleep. Breakfast was yummy, but slow service. Enjoyed the gym and the location.

Great location, walking distance to village green and train station. Lovely bar and restaurant with friendly staff. Private gardens and on-site leisure club with pool, spa, and gym. Comfy bed with garden views. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Thoughtful anniversary treat.

Staying here was an enjoyable experience. The hotel's ideal location in this charming village, close to the railway station, made it convenient for me to explore the area. I was impressed with the excellent service provided by the staff who were very attentive and professional. They ensured I had everything I needed and were willing helpers with my luggage. The spa and swimming pool were fantastic relaxation spots. I also admired the view from my room's window and enjoyed my stay with my pet as amenities were available.

In a word, this place was excellent.

The location was ideal, as it was next to a convenient railway line, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surrounding area. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, providing us with a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of options, and we especially enjoyed the continental spread. The hotel also had fantastic leisure facilities, including a jacuzzi and a steam room, which were a great way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

The only minor issue we encountered was a slight noise disturbance from the other rooms, as the walls were thin. However, this did not significantly impact our overall stay.

The floral displays from the car park to the entrance were magnificent, adding a touch of beauty to the hotel. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony view. Complimentary mulled wine and mince pies on arrival created the perfect festive atmosphere. the hotel's location was ideal, with picturesque views and easy access to public transportation. the leisure facilities were fantastic, a great way to relax during the holiday. the staff were warm, welcoming and made our stay enjoyable.

There were no negative aspects to our stay at this hotel. Everything was exceptional, making our Christmas experience memorable and wonderful.
