The staff at Rapopo Plantation Resort in Kokopo were incredibly friendly and attentive, from the warm welcome at check, in to the efficient service during meals. the location of the resort offers stunning views of the harbor and Mt Tavurvur, and the complimentary shuttle to town was convenient. the food was delicious, with reasonable prices for dishes like steak and seafood. Reflecting on my stay with 5, year, old children, we enjoyed the relaxing amenities at the resort, including the swimming pool, beach access. the outdoor swimming pool was a hit with the kids, and the beachfront location provided a beautiful setting for family bonding. We also explored the nearby Kokopo War Museum, offering an insightful look into the history of the region and adding to our cultural experience.

we had a wonderful time at rapopo plantation resort. the staff were extremely friendly and prompt, from our airport pick-up with mark, the exceptional service from christine at the front desk, to the attentive housekeeping staff. we appreciated the lovely welcome gestures of the welcome song, frangipani leis, and kulau. the stunning views of the harbour and mt tavurvur added to the overall experience. the complimentary shuttle service to the nearby town was a convenient touch. the food was delicious, with reasonable prices for dishes like steak and seafood. overall, a fantastic stay.

My recent stay at this hotel was just awesome! the staff were excellent and super friendly, always ensuring that everyone was enjoying their stay. the location overlooked the pool, providing great views of the volcanoes. the beach access was absolutely awesome with postcard views and activities such as snorkelling, fishing, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming with the dolphins. the deck over the bay was a big hit, offering a great place to relax with some green cans and fresh pina coladas after exploring Rabaul and Kokopo. the hotel is nestled in a leafy enclave overlooking the turquoise sea, creating a very relaxing atmosphere.

If I could suggest an improvement, it would be that the bathroom corners could be more up to date, and it would be great if they provided hairdryers in the rooms. Although the beach is beautiful, only some spots are good for swimming.

The layout of Rapopo Plantation Resort was simply enchanting. I loved exploring the various balconies and relaxing in the beautiful pool area. The beach was just steps away, and the stunning views of the harbor and Mt Tavurvur were absolutely breathtaking. I especially enjoyed the complimentary canoe ride in the evening, it was such a unique experience. The staff, particularly Megan the directing manager, were incredibly friendly and generous. They even treated us to fresh sea urchins straight from the sea. Despite a couple of minor issues with the WiFi and slightly overpriced food, my overall stay at Rapopo Plantation Resort was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and picturesque experience in Kokopo.

We had an amazing time at this seaside resort, with stunning blue waters right off the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and the views from the swimming pool area were breathtaking. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a dive shop on site and the option for soothing massages at the spa. a perfect beach getaway.

The restaurant tended to be quite hot during the day, despite the presence of cooling fans.

The location of the hotel, right next to the ocean, provides stunning views and a refreshing breeze. there are plenty of activities available, such as snorkeling and kayaking, that can be enjoyed in the crystal-clear waters. the natural environment with tropical flowers and trees creates a relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for energizing yourself.

Some rooms can be noisy as there are birds making noise early in the morning and mosquitoes can be an issue if you are not careful. the vegetarian options at the restaurant are limited, so vegetarians might struggle to find something they like.

The amenities in the room were top-notch, with comfortable beds, clean and well-stocked bathrooms, and a variety of extras like ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee amenities. The dining experience was exceptional, with a restaurant that offered delicious meals, a cozy bar/lounge area, and a snack bar for quick bites. The hotel also had a spa and wellness center, where we enjoyed relaxing massages and other treatments. The swimming pool, sun terrace, and garden area provided the perfect spaces for unwinding and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
