the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their excellent English made it easy for them to suggest and book dinner at a local authentic restaurant for us. the location of the hotel near the old city wall was fantastic, allowing us to easily explore the historic heart of Evora on foot. the hotel itself was beautifully decorated, with gorgeous courtyards and sitting areas. It was clear that the hotel had a rich history, but it had also been modernized to ensure a comfortable stay. the desk staff went above and beyond to assist us, including arranging a taxi and even writing out a note in Portuguese for us. I couldn't have asked for more from this boutique hotel.
