I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and I loved the peaceful garden courtyard setting. The staff were excellent and treated us with kindness and hospitality.

We stayed at this hotel for a week during our vacation and it was truly a delightful experience. The location is perfect, as it is within walking distance of both the historic zona velha and the bustling city center. We loved being able to explore the area on foot and not having to rely on a car. Plus, the hotel offers a spacious underground car park for those who do have a car. The view from the hotel is simply stunning, overlooking the sea and the city. We also enjoyed spending time in the beautiful garden on the hotel grounds. The room we stayed in was spacious, tidy, and had a comfortable and huge bed. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a kitchen annex perfect for those who want to cook their own meals. The breakfast served on the terrace offers a lovely view of the hotel's garden and the city. Additionally, the hotel provides free underground parking and well-functioning Wi-Fi.

It can get noisy at times, with barking dogs and nearby construction site disturbances.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a variety of high-quality food, fresh juices, and a lovely bread basket. The kitchenette in the studio was a pleasant surprise, making it easy to cook with all the necessary appliances. The service provided by the staff was excellent and the honesty bar and seating areas were peaceful with a great view of the city.

I had a fantastic stay at Arts In Hotel Conde Carvalhal in Funchal. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the harbour, providing a spectacular view from the terrace/balcony. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the housekeeping was thorough yet unobtrusive. The small size of the hotel allowed for personalized service, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements for breakfast. The hotel also assisted with our airport transfers and check-in, making our travel experience seamless. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, service, and stunning views.

Spent Xmas in this amazing hotel and couldn't be happier! the location was ideal, with stunning views of the town and sea. the spacious room was well-furnished with a kitchenette which was a nice touch. the breakfast included everything one could wish for, definitely worth the extra money. the staff was exceptional, very efficient, friendly and caring.

The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, and it wasn't accessible in the room. However, it worked well in the lobby.

We had a pleasant stay at a wonderfully situated facility in the eastern part of the city. the hotel was away from hotel complexes and close to the oldest part of Funchal. We enjoyed being within walking distance to the center and the Monte cable car. the property was a combination of an older residence and a new pavilion, all surrounded by a pleasant garden with a terrace overlooking the sea where breakfast was served. the staff was extremely friendly and the accommodation was large, clean, and modern with good self catering facilities.

Great breakfast with quality ingredients and fresh smoothies served in the wonderful garden overlooking the bay. Impressive trees and plants well maintained. the location was perfect, with the city center just a short taxi ride away. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Some of the fixtures and fittings in the room were a bit tired, with water stains on the wooden surfaces. the shower strength was poor and the drainage was slow, causing a puddle of dirty water halfway through.
