I recently stayed at a fantastic boutique hostel called Azorean Urban Lodge. The hosts, Miguel and Rita, were incredibly helpful with tips and recommendations before, during, and even after our trip. They provided a map with their top recommendations, which were all amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pool area was gorgeous, perfect for breakfast or a relaxing swim. The accommodations were charming and well-kept. Staying here made our trip to Sao Miguel even better.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is super convenient, walking distance to all the attractions. The staff were jaw-droppingly friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on where to eat and even providing a towel for the hot springs. The lodge itself is equipped with everything you need, including a shared kitchen and a picnic area. The outdoor swimming pool is a fantastic addition, and the sun loungers are perfect for relaxation. Wi-fi is available, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Plus, it's great that they have a strict no pets and no smoking policy. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!

The cleanliness was impeccable, with perfectly clean and cozy rooms. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful pool area where we could relax and enjoy our breakfast. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the city center and we could easily buy groceries at the nearby supermarket. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with personalized recommendations and assisting us with car rental and other arrangements.

While our stay was fantastic, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The noise from the airplanes taking off and landing could be a bit disruptive, especially in the bedroom.

During our stay, we were impressed by the central location of the hotel, as we were just a short walk away from the buzzing city center. This made it easy for us to explore and enjoy all the bars and restaurants in the area. the hotel staff provided us with a comprehensive map that included their top recommendations on things to do and places to visit on the island. They were also incredibly helpful in assisting us with arranging transportation and other necessary arrangements. The spacious and well-equipped room was a perfect base for our adventures, and the communal kitchen allowed us to enjoy meals in a stylish setting.

One minor inconvenience was the noise from nearby airplanes passing over the hotel, due to its proximity to the airport.

The owners, Rita and Miguel, went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. They greeted me at both my arrival and departure and even left a heartfelt postcard with my baggage. The lodge itself is stunning - clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The personal bathroom with large towels was a nice touch. The modern amenities, such as the fingerprint key and well-equipped kitchen, made my stay even more convenient. I can't say enough about the hospitality and comfort of the Azorean Urban Lodge.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool area was fantastic. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The shower had warm water with good water flow. Excellent value for money. The other guests were friendly. The shared kitchen was a great feature. The cow tour of the city was a must-do, offering a fun and affordable way to see the important places. The catamaran tour was the best experience, with dolphins swimming alongside us and even spotting whales.

The Fish room we stayed in was lovely and the common areas were clean and well-equipped. the communication with the hostel was great, and they were incredibly helpful when we needed to reschedule our stay due to a canceled flight. the location is perfect, being only 5 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of the city center with its monuments, restaurants, and shops. Highly recommended!
