The rooms have had a stylish makeover and are well-furnished for a small boutique hotel. They are clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, and the service is exceptional. The breakfast, prepared by Soraya, is simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to start your day.

Parking and drop-off can be a bit challenging.

They went above and beyond to accommodate us, from giving us early check-in to providing valuable recommendations for exploring the city. The location was excellent, just a short walk from a Metro station and close to various dining options. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we even enjoyed a tasty surprise treat. we would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Porto.

The location is perfect, close to public transport and in a vibrant area. You can easily access the city's attractions and there is a famous Nata bakery and a food market just opposite the hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable with a mini bar and safe. The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to assist with travel arrangements and even preparing sandwiches for a late arrival. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.

The view from the front of the hotel is not the best as it overlooks a closed food market undergoing redevelopment.

The value for money at B The Guest Downtown was excellent, with spacious and well-decorated rooms. The location was ideal, very central and convenient for exploring. The staff, including Raphael, Anna, Louisa, and the chamber maids.

More breakfast items like omelettes or scrambled eggs would have made the breakfast experience even better.

The hotel had a great location, right near the main shopping street and close to restaurants and cafes. It was also a short walk from the metro, which made it easy to explore the city. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. One of the best things was the warm welcome we received from the staff, who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

That the hotel didn't have an elevator. This meant climbing up several flights of stairs, which could be difficult for those with mobility issues or a lot of luggage.

I loved the prime location of this hotel. It was right across the street from the bustling Bolhao Market and just steps away from the delicious Manteigaria Bakery. There were also plenty of shops, restaurants, and lively areas to explore nearby. Plus, it was within walking distance of the city center and all the major attractions. The transportation options were excellent, with a metro station just a few minutes away.

The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, right opposite the main food market and close to all the major sights in Porto. The staff at this hotel are really attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. The rooms are comfortable, with neat furniture and enclosed balconies that offer a beautiful view over downtown Porto. The breakfast here is delicious, with made-to-order eggs and freshly baked items. I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked scrambled eggs.

During my Xmas stay, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering us a glass of wine and a piece of cake upon arrival. The location was also great, with lots of restaurants and sightseeing options nearby. One of the best aspects of our stay was the breakfast – it was elaborate and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

There were also some negative aspects of our experience. One of the rooms had a strong smell of paint, which was uncomfortable.
