Balcony view over vineyards was simply stunning! Excellent homemade breakfast.

After a long walk from nearby Pinhao, arriving felt refreshing. The layout allows guests to sample local wines from coolers at reasonable prices, which added to the experience. The staff were friendly, and the food was surprisingly good throughout my stay. It was a nice escape, but having a car would be necessary to explore more fully. I enjoyed my time in a peaceful setting usually found in the more picturesque areas of Italy.

The vineyard views are stunning, and the pool is a great spot to unwind. Dining options are limited, with only the pricey on-site restaurant available. Renting bicycles for a ride through the vineyards was a highlight. Would have loved more snack options by the pool.

Service lapses occurred during busy times, and the limited dining options nearby made snacks or meals challenging to find. Additionally, some rooms were noted for inadequate temperature control.

Our group had a fantastic time relaxing by the large pool and enjoying the beautiful vineyard views. The homemade breakfast was a hit, and we loved dining at the on-site restaurant for some amazing local cuisine. We also took the opportunity to go wine tasting at the family-owned Quinta do Portal, which was a standout experience!

The views from the family room overlooking the stunning vineyards were breathtaking and made the stay memorable. Breakfast included fresh seasonal fruits and homemade delights that were a delicious start to each day. However, the lack of air conditioning in room 101 was uncomfortable, especially given the warm temperatures. Although the on-site dining experience was nice, the limited menu wasn’t worth the higher prices. The winding road leading to the property was a bit tricky to navigate, but once there, the beauty made it worthwhile.

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel with breathtaking vineyard views. The kids enjoyed the fantastic pool area, and we dined on delicious local cuisine at the restaurant. Visiting Quinta do Portal was a highlight that we won’t forget.

In my wife’s opinion, having more family-friendly dining options would have been great.

The superior double room was spacious and came with a balcony overlooking the vineyards. Great air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and luxurious bathrobes added to the comfort. Enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool area with sun loungers. Breakfast was delicious with homemade options. The dining experience was really exceptional too!
