I had an incredible stay at this hotel. Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and I especially loved the beautiful gardens with their stunning views. The location was also perfect, allowing for quick access to the winelands and other attractions in the area. Additionally, the breakfast provided a wide variety of options to choose from and was absolutely delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We stayed at a beautiful villa in late August and had a wonderful experience at Casa Dos Barros Winery Lodge. the staff was down to earth, warm, and informative, making us feel like we were part of the family. the rooms were clean and had a charming country home style. the villa itself had a romantic feel with its old yet modernly renovated design. the highlight of our stay was exploring the stunning Douro Valley, which offered breathtaking landscapes that we had never seen before. We highly recommend this accommodation and can't wait to return!

the historical house has a charming and romantic atmosphere, perfect for relaxation after a day of wine tasting in the region. the staff, especially our hostess Teresa, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We felt right at home. the pool offered stunning views of the vineyards and countryside, and the beautiful garden provided a tranquil spot to enjoy a drink. I also have to mention the delicious breakfast with high-quality ingredients and the opportunity to taste excellent port from Teresa's cousin's vineyard. it was a fantastic experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Dos Barros Winery Lodge. Teresa and Sandra were incredibly helpful, providing us with great directions and even calling establishments for us. They made our first night in Portugal truly memorable. The area was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for exploring the magnificent Douro Valley. The old mansion was charmingly renovated, and the rooms were comfortable. Despite some minor issues with the bathroom and breakfast, we enjoyed the delightful gardens, pool, and the romantic atmosphere of the house. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the Douro Valley.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking a beautiful valley. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The dinner provided on one of the nights was a wonderful bonus and added a special touch to our romantic getaway.

The bathroom could definitely benefit from better ventilation to minimize the dampness that accumulated after a few days. The Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected during our stay.

casa dos barros winery lodge exceeded expectations! the staff made us feel like family, the room was romantic with a beautiful stone wall and window, the pool and view were amazing. the owner's knowledge of the area and port wines was impressive. overall, a perfect stay in sabrosa.

The country house was beautifully furnished, with charming touches that made it feel cozy and inviting. the breakfast room had a gorgeous design, and the breakfast itself was delicious. I also enjoyed the modern and comfortable amenities provided, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

The pool was out of service without prior notice, and the staff seemed a bit disorganized. finding the location was a bit challenging due to the small sign on the front door and lack of parking signage.

The property is steeped in history and beautifully renovated. The rooms are modern, and the bathrooms are stylish. There is a lovely pool and beautiful gardens. The location is quiet, with a pretty square overlooking vineyards. The owner Teresa is a fantastic hostess, fluent in English and French. She is a fountain of knowledge about the area and her wine recommendations are wonderful. The breakfast spread is amazing, with a wide variety of choices. I can't wait to stay here again!
