I had an incredible stay at this oasis in Porto! the location of Casa Kala was perfect, within walking distance to everything I wanted to see. the staff, especially Joaquin, were so courteous and helpful, going above and beyond to assist me. the breakfast spread was delicious and they even made eggs to order. the attention to detail in the restoration of this historic property was evident and the design was stunning. I can't wait to come back!

The interior of the hotel was renovated to a high quality and aesthetically pleasing, with clean and comfortable rooms. The grounds were calm and the hotel had good soundproofing, making it a peaceful retreat from the busy city.

Although the metro station was nearby, the walking distance to the city center and the riverside area could be tiring, especially due to the significant height difference. The hotel grounds were not well-lit at night and there were no staff members present after hours, which made it feel unsafe and somewhat inconvenient.

I had a wonderful stay at a true gem in Portugal! Casa Kala is perfectly located, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and consistent. Joaquim's recommendations were top-notch. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

The location required some walking, especially with the significant height difference on the way to the city center. The public transport system wasn't very helpful in dealing with the elevation changes.
