This charming hotel is nestled in a stunning region and surrounded by attached gardens. The location offers easy access to all local sites and the ruins of the monastery. The staff, described as simply fabulous, are welcoming and friendly. The rooms boast comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities. One can enjoy a delicious and healthy breakfast with a wonderful smell of fresh bread. The furnishings in the communal areas are tasteful and historically interesting, creating a unique ambiance.

Despite the delightful experience, the lack of an on-site restaurant for evening meals is worth noting.

We were absolutely amazed by the beautifully preserved history and tranquility of this 13th-century monastery. The communal lounge with games and suits of armor added to the authentic charm. The evening fires and crystal clear swimming pool were perfect for relaxation. The continental breakfast with fresh orange juice was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this unique and peaceful venue.

This hotel is a real gem in a beautiful area of Portugal. The surroundings are peaceful and tranquil, perfect for relaxing in the middle of nature. The attention to detail in the hotel is amazing, with tasteful decor that feels like a section of a museum. The basic amenities are top-notch, with rooms that have a nice view of the valley and temperature control that works wonderfully. The breakfast is simply delightful, especially the fresh orange juice. And if you're a birdwatcher, the surrounding area is a paradise!

What an amazing Easter weekend I had! the countryside location was just outstanding, with beautiful ruins, olive trees and a singing birds everywhere. the breakfast was simply delightful with the aroma of fresh bread filling the air. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the hiking trail they had right behind the property, which offered amazing views of the surroundings.

The only negative point was that there wasn't a restaurant available for dinner which left us to explore nearby options. However, we did find a great family-owned restaurant about a 10-minute walk away.

We had an incredible stay at Convento Da Provenca. the location was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views of the countryside. the convent itself was beautifully decorated, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We particularly loved the cozy fireplace they lit for us one evening, as well as the delicious breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of fresh and nutritious options. this historic building provided a fascinating and memorable experience.

Everything was exactly what we needed and wanted. 👌
