Surpassed expectations, hidden gem. Perfect location, clean, quiet, and affordable. Mini farm for kids, plenty of space. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely return.

This hotel is a hidden gem located on the outskirts of a charming village. The prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. The rooms, with their refreshingly non-creaky beds, offer basic amenities and are in the style of the original hall. I loved the separate toilet and shower, providing convenience and privacy. The breakfast spread was delicious and satisfying.

No complaints, everything was just fine!

Great value for money, with a gorgeous and spacious mansion, warm and comfortable bedrooms, and a lovely library section. The location was perfect for walking, with a direct path up Lose Hill from the back gate. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere was good. Loved the farm animals in the garden!

The morning meal could be improved with more variety of options.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy hostel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless and I had the best night's sleep. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying some great meals at nearby pubs.

The facilities were outstanding, one of the best we've seen - great communal spaces, living room, outdoor picnic area, and good kitchen. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location is ideal for those wishing to explore the great outdoors, with nearby footpaths and outdoor activities. The breakfast served was really good, a satisfying start to the day.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with beautiful nature surrounding it. You can easily access the hills and the center of town. The rooms are clean and the communal areas are spacious. There is a dining room with a lovely view of the grounds. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They offer a buffet breakfast, although it may struggle to keep up with demand at times.

Some of the showers have poor water pressure.
