We absolutely loved the serene and clean environment by the river. The river view from every room was breathtaking, perfect for relaxation. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast spread was amazing, offering a wide variety of options. And let's not forget the mind-blowing swimming pool!

The bar and restaurant were excellent, with a vegetarian/vegan menu and professional and friendly staff. The hotel facilities were nice, and there were easy and enjoyable walking paths along the river.

The view from the Douro Royal Valley Hotel & Spa was absolutely breathtaking. We were able to enjoy stunning vistas of the river Douro and its spectacular surroundings from the terrace. The rooftop swimming pool and sunbeds provided the perfect spot to relax and soak in the incredible scenery. We also loved that there were scenic routes along the valley that were easily accessible from the hotel.

The hotel amenities were well-maintained and the breakfast had a great selection. the scenic views from the hotel were stunning, and the spacious rooms were comfortable and clean. the hotel's location allowed easy access to major highways, making it convenient for business travelers.

The staff was not as helpful or accommodating as expected. There was no concierge service, and some of the reception staff lacked knowledge about the local area.

the room exceeded our expectations for a 5 hotel, and the restaurant served Michelin star quality food. the bar area with the pool table was a great place to relax, and the bar staff provided excellent service. the location near the river offered fantastic views from our room, and the spa was top notch. We loved having a balcony to enjoy the evening sunset or a comfortable sofa by the pool. the staff were friendly and helpful, and Nuno went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. the views from the 6th floor rooms with a small private garden were breathtaking. the spa experience was fantastic, and the breakfast selection was great. While dinner at the restaurant was a bit pricey, the hotel offered other options for a smaller, yet enjoyable meal. we had a wonderful and pleasant stay.
