The room and bathroom are on the smaller side, but the cleanliness and attention to detail more than make up for it.

I had an amazing ten-night stay at Guest House Douro. The location on a charming cobblestoned street filled with cafes, wine bars, and restaurants made exploring Porto a breeze. My room, with a gorgeous river view, was immaculately clean, and the bed and linens were of high quality. The breakfast was absolutely spectacular, with a variety of fruits beautifully carved into a tower, along with pastries, cured meats, and more. The owners, Hugo and Luisa, were incredibly gracious and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this gem of a guest house.
