Spent Christmas at this historic hotel and had a fantastic experience. the decor is amazing and simply fascinating and really takes you back in time. the friendly and helpful staff made us feel at home. the hotel's location was perfect, very close to the city center and all the local restaurants, shops, and attractions. the breakfast buffet was good value and had a variety of options.

The only minor downside is that some of the furnishing and facilities are a bit outdated, but this did not affect our experience in any significant way. although the staff was overall helpful, there were a few communication issues with fewer English speakers available.
