The hotel's location by the Douro River was absolutely stunning. The view of the vineyards along the river was beautiful. I loved waking up to such a picturesque setting. The continental breakfast served every morning was delicious, especially the freshly squeezed juice. The bed was comfortable and I had a peaceful night's sleep. Despite the language barrier, the hostess was incredibly nice and helpful. She recommended a restaurant nearby where we had a delicious dinner.

Additionally, there are some great dining options nearby, including a tapas bar and a wine shop where you can enjoy local wines and cheese. If you enjoy nature walks, there is a picturesque trail through vineyards and citrus groves nearby that is worth exploring.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Tua. the location is perfect, with stunning views of the Douro valley. the room was clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool was a great place to relax. I also enjoyed dining at the nearby restaurant, Tua Mercearia, which had delicious Portuguese tapas. a great place to rest and disconnect.

The breakfast is delicious, with homemade bread and jams, and there is even a small pool to relax in. there is a great bakery nearby and plenty of opportunities for boat trips down the river.

Nothing not to love.

We stayed here one night after driving the vineyards of the Douro Valley. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and right on the river. The view from our room was beautiful. Parking is right next to the hotel, the staff is very accommodating, and the breakfast was magnificent - including homemade items. There is a restaurant next door, with a limited menu, but delicious food and helpful staff at a reasonable price. All in all, a good way to end our day driving the wine trail.
