The hotel had a beautiful room with exposed granite walls that created a charming atmosphere. The staff was helpful and accommodating, arranging an early breakfast for our convenience. We also enjoyed the buffet dinner, which was a great value at 15 Euros including wine.

While our stay was enjoyable, we noticed that some facilities around the hotel seemed unfinished or semi-derelict, giving the impression that further development may have ceased. the surrounding area felt more like a never-ending suburb rather than open countryside, which was a bit disappointing.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming country hotel. The location was perfect, nestled in the mountains and easily accessible from the excellent motorway network in the Porto area. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was luxurious and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could ask for including ironing facilities, heating, and a sitting area. We loved the welcome drink of Vinho Verde from their own wine estate, a lovely touch that made us feel truly welcomed. The hotel grounds were beautiful, with a peaceful garden area and a refreshing swimming pool where we could relax on sun loungers and soak up the sun. The free Wi-Fi and parking were also a bonus, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

We had an amazing romantic escape at this charming rural farm. the scenery was breathtaking and we loved the antique decorations in our room. the breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh local products. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas and attractions.

the WiFi was non-operational during our visit and the hotel reception closed at night, which made our late arrival stressful. Better signage could have also helped us navigate through the area.
