I recently stayed at O Gadanha in Estremoz for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The town itself is unique with its marble-paved footpaths and rich history of agricultural tools. The hotel was spotlessly clean and everything in the room worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond expectations. The €45 price for a twin room with a proper breakfast was excellent, and parking right outside the front door was a great convenience. The lovely balcony with a view of the castle was the cherry on top.

We stayed one night at O Gadanha and were very impressed. the hotel has a great location in the centre of Estremoz, with a nice square in front and views of the castle from the back. the rooms are comfortable and reasonably sized, with the added bonus of a small patio in some of the rooms. Despite the language barrier, the receptionists were friendly and accommodating, and we had no problem switching rooms when needed. the hotel is within walking distance of everything and even offers reserved parking spaces on the road in front. the basic breakfast provided was sufficient and the overall experience left us wanting to stay one more night.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a continental breakfast every morning. So exciting to start the day with some croissants and coffee! The free WiFi was a blessing because who doesn't need their daily dose of internet? And I even got to taste some traditional Alentejo cuisine, fancy!

Oh, and let's not forget the lovely daily maid service! It was so thrilling to have my room cleaned every day, such a luxury.

As young travelers, we loved the central location and the convenient amenities offered by this charming hotel. The staff was super friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. The room had AC, a flat-screen TV, and good wifi, which ticked all the boxes for us. Plus, parking was reserved for us right outside the front door, which saved us the hassle of finding a spot. it was a great deal considering the price we paid.
