The fitness center was below standard with many machines not working or unsafe to use. The breakfast had limited variety and was almost the same every day.

Celebrating New Year's at this hotel was fantastic! the room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. the continental breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. the gym and outdoor pool were also great amenities to have. Plus, the location was perfect - only a short drive from the airport and close to the center of town.

We had a great experience at this hotel! The staff at the restaurant were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed during our stay. The location of this hotel is also very convenient, especially if you need to be close to the airport. It only took us about 5 minutes to drive there, and they even provide free parking for guests. The rooms were spacious, nicely furnished, and clean. We couldn't hear any noise from the airport, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel also has a gym and an outdoor pool, although we didn't get to use them due to the weather. we highly recommend this place!

I had a great experience at Hotel Solar Do Bom Jesus in Santa Cruz. The hotel was clean, modern, and well-presented. I especially enjoyed the delicious and plentiful breakfast options. The location was ideal, with the seaside just a 5-minute walk away and a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The convenience store and bus stop were also just a few minutes away. Despite a few drawbacks such as the lack of heating in the room and the potential noise from the nearby school, overall I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel.

the hotel is impeccably clean, and the staff was super nice and helpful. the location is great, with easy access to all of Madeira's attractions. the proximity to the airport was a major plus for me, as I had a late-night flight. the bus stop for Funchal is also very close, making it easy to explore the capital city. My room, located on the fourth floor, opened onto a beautiful terrace with a lovely garden. It was the perfect spot to relax after a long journey. I highly recommend Solar Bom Jesus as the ideal accommodation in Madeira.

The modern and cosy interior of Solar Bom Jesus made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and the beach. The outside pool on the top of the building offered a beautiful view of the mountain. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.
