The location is perfect, with major attractions within walking distance and plenty of dining options nearby. The restaurant at the hotel is also top-notch and comparable to other Michelin star restaurants in Porto. I highly recommend this 5-star hotel for its elegance, maintenance, and exceptional service.

Recently stayed at Maison Albar in Porto for a family vacation. The hotel's amazing design and attention to detail impressed us right from the start. The spacious suite was perfect for our family of four, and the staff, especially Tiago, who served us at the bar, were friendly and knowledgeable. The central location, great pool, spa area, and delicious breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a wonderful city break in a hotel which had great service and decor. the location of the hotel is spot on next to the town hall which made our walk to the main attractions less than 10 minutes. the bed was incredibly comfortable, we never heard any noise at all and the staff was very helpful.

Some aspects of the hotel experience were not up to our expectations. the shower knob was a bit tricky to adjust and the electrical connection was faulty which should have been taken care of by maintenance.

The location was perfect, as it was very close to many attractions in the city. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff provided exceptional service, with friendly and helpful attitudes. The breakfast offered a wide selection, including made-to-order eggs and freshly squeezed juices. The hotel also had great facilities such as a spa, pool, and cafe. my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The saunas were not working properly on two occasions.

We recently stayed at a magnificent hotel in Porto and had the most incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so special, especially on my birthday. They upgraded our room, greeted us with champagne and treats, and even surprised me with a birthday cake during breakfast! the cleanliness and attention to detail were outstanding, with high-quality bathroom amenities and luxurious interior design. the breakfast was delicious and varied, with hot foods cooked to order. the employees were attentive, kind, and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. it was by far the best hotel we have ever been to.

Good Once I entered this hotel, I experienced a real sense of luxury and exclusivity. My spacious room was equipped with exclusive amenities, and the staff made sure all my needs were fulfilled. the beautifully decorated spa and wellness centre provided me with an opportunity to relax near the indoor swimming pool, in the sauna, the steam room, or indulge with a massage and many facial and beauty treatments. the restaurant served excellent continental breakfast with a wide range of food, as well as dishes from special diet menus. the bar and lounge area also impressed me with its great selection of drinks and snacks.

The shower in our room was absolutely amazing, with a strong flow of water that was so refreshing. The location of Maison Albar Hotels Le Monumental Palace was excellent, allowing us to easily explore the city on foot. The staff were always pleasant and available, with a constant smile on their faces. The cleanliness of both the room and the hotel itself was impeccable, leaving us with nothing to complain about. And last but not least, the breakfast at the hotel was very good, offering a delicious start to our day.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I felt like a VIP. the staff went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration special. They upgraded my room and even left a bottle of champagne and welcome treats for me. the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room was beautifully decorated. the bathroom had high-quality accessories and the overall interior design was unreal. the breakfast was perfect, and the staff surprised me with a piece of cake and a candle to celebrate my birthday. the employees were attentive, kind, and always ready to help. Even when I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and it wasn't quite right, the waitress promptly replaced it. I also had a fantastic yoga class with the instructor Marta. I was genuinely sad to leave this hotel and am extremely happy I chose to stay here.

The value for money was exceptional, with a large room, fantastic bathroom, and one of the nicest beds I've ever slept in. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, and the staff were friendly and responsive, making my stay truly enjoyable.
