out of the blue was an absolute gem during my recent stay in ponta delgada. from the comfortable beds and amazing showers to the delicious vegan pancakes and shared dinners, everything exceeded my expectations. the friendly staff and diverse cultural environment made it feel like a home away from home. can't wait to come back!

Great social atmosphere and convenient location in a charming city. Comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms with access to a well-maintained garden. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, with spotless rooms and bathrooms. The hotel facilities were great, with a spacious garden where you can relax and a brand new kitchen to prepare your own meals. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything in the city, including the excellent A Tasca restaurant and the seafront piers. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always there to assist with any questions or requests.

I had the best hostel stay ever! The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout my week-long visit. I loved the daily breakfast served in a lovely outdoor area at 8:00, where I got to chat with other guests. The location was perfect for day trips, and my 3-bedroom room had easy access to the beautiful outdoor area. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. The facilities were great, and I especially enjoyed the delicious homemade dinners and the tour I joined. I highly recommend staying here!

The lack of curtains on the beds, but it was a minor inconvenience.

The hostel-style setting was refreshing with welcoming communal spaces and stunning garden. We had a room with treacherous stairs and weird set up but when requested, the staff were quick to relocate us to a gorgeous room. Home-cooking was excellent and well-priced. Overall I recommend this hostel-hotel.

I stayed at a perfectly located hostel in the city center where everything was well placed in the room, giving it a contemporary art vibe. The beautiful garden with different relaxing areas made for great photo opportunities and there was also a nice pool. The breakfast served in front of our eyes was outstanding and the employees were incredible. This hostel exceeded my expectations and was definitely better than many fancy hotels I've stayed at before, but at a much more affordable price. I would highly recommend it as my go-to place for my next trip to the island.

The value for money was great, the room was even better than most hotels we've stayed in. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to everything we needed. The staff treated us with such kindness and were always helpful and friendly.

The menu for breakfast could have had a bit more variety.

The location is great, just a short walk from the sea and the center. The staff, especially Sandy, Rita, and Bernardo, are amazing and always willing to help. The house is new and well-decorated with trendy furniture, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The garden is a pleasant place to relax, have a drink, or enjoy a meal. The brand new kitchen is available for guests to cook their own meals. There is a daily welcome sangria at 7pm, a great opportunity to meet other guests and learn about the island. The breakfast is included and offers a variety of sweet food, including bread, jam, crepes, and fresh yogurt.
