We were thrilled with the beautiful, renovated 17th-century building and the attention to detail for the modern traveler. The terrace breakfast was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us, especially Marisa. The room was comfortable with a large queen size bed.

This hotel is in a fantastic location within walking distance of everything, close to the major city attractions and situated in a historic area. However, the street leading to the hotel is not comfortable for bag wheels. The rooms are charmingly decorated but some lack adequate storage for clothes. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledge.The breakfast has a good selection of fruit, meat, cheese, baked goods, and the traditional custard tarts are a treat.

The hotel lacks a proper room service option, and a wider drink selection in the mini-bar would have been helpful.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the beautiful city of Evora. The hotel had a charming little courtyard at the front that added to the ambiance. The dining room was adorned with captivating paintings and even had an excavated section of a Roman wall from 100 B.C. The staff at the front desk were knowledgeable and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The bicycles provided for a self-guided tour to the megalith were comfortable and easy to use. The breakfast was good, although the coffee could have been better.

During our Easter trip, we had a good stay at a historical hotel. Two complimentary treats made us feel welcomed, and the location was perfect for exploring the historic district. the breakfast had a good variety of options, and we enjoyed the beautiful decor of the dining room.

The staff seemed uninterested in customer service. We had to initiate the check-in process, and they didn't provide basic information about parking or the hotel amenities.
