I had a fantastic stay at this fabulous building that combines ancient walls with modern contemporary style. the rooms were pleasant and had balconies, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. the restaurant served impeccable food, especially during the "rice week. " the staff was amazing, and the swimming pool was large and spacious. the location was excellent, with walking distance to local riverfront restaurants. I left wanting more and enjoyed the peaceful views from the highest level of the village.

on our recent stay in alcacer do sal, pousada castelo de exceeded our expectations. the converted structure was beautifully done, maintaining its history. the room was larger than expected with amazing views and a comfortable bed. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food at the restaurante was impeccable.

One thing missing was porridge at breakfast.
