Our stay at Pousada De Braganca - Sao Bartolomeu was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming reception staff made us feel right at home. Our Superior room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony. The hotel's recent refurbishment is evident in every detail, and the attention to detail is impeccable. The location is also convenient, with only a short walk into town. We had an unforgettable dining experience in the hotel's restaurant, where we were treated to a truly imaginative and delicious meal. The passion for food and wine from the co-owner, Antonio, was infectious. we can't recommend this hotel enough.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Braganca for a few days. The hotel's location was perfect, with a stunning view of the old Braganza fort from our suite. The warm and welcoming staff, including the owner Antonio and his brother chef Oscar, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dinner experience. The Michelin-starred restaurant at the hotel was a delightful surprise, offering fantastic value for money. The newly refurbished room was comfortable, and the overall service was efficient and friendly. I would definitely visit again without a doubt.

The food was really delicious and the view from my room was just breathtaking. the location was also a plus, very close to the town. the staff was helpful and accommodating.

The coffee was burnt and even after requesting fresh coffee, it was still bad. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I appreciate the effort of the staff to serve me gluten-free bread rolls, but they were past their use-by date and the inside of the bread was moldy.

the hotel's food and restaurant were fantastic, definitely worth staying for. The views from the bedroom were tremendous, with a direct view of the castle and beautiful surrounding hills. The staff were attentive and the common area/bar was cozy, offering great views of the town.
