Delightfully peaceful with fabulous castle view, large and varied breakfast, helpful reception staff, clean throughout. Excellent views from balcony, spacious room. New building blends well with surroundings, plenty of windows for wonderful views. Walkable town, enjoyed sitting by lounge windows and fireplace at night. Good food in restaurant with many windows.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The location inside the fortress was simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the river and the Spanish fort. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated with antique furnishings, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

We had a fantastic time here and would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

The stunning views and helpful reception staff are the best aspects of this accommodation. the clean rooms with beautiful balconies overlooking the river and valley, as well as the nearby bridge to cross over into a neighboring country, make for a memorable stay.

The inexperienced waiters’ service leaves much to be desired, with long waits for drinks, and incorrect charges for basic items like hot water. the limited, overpriced menu and noisy air conditioning unit were also underwhelming.
