Delightfully peaceful with fabulous castle view, large and varied breakfast, helpful reception staff, clean throughout. Excellent views from balcony, spacious room. New building blends well with surroundings, plenty of windows for wonderful views. Walkable town, enjoyed sitting by lounge windows and fireplace at night. Good food in restaurant with many windows.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The location inside the fortress was simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the river and the Spanish fort. The inexperienced waiters’ service leaves much to be desired, with long waits for drinks, and incorrect charges for basic items like hot water. The limited, overpriced menu and noisy air conditioning unit were also underwhelming.
