Exceptional concierge service shines here

Staying at Pousada Do Porto was a joy! The breakfast spread was impressive, and I truly loved starting my mornings with the unique street atmosphere of Rua das Flores. The staff was attentive, with the concierge team going above and beyond to assist with my sightseeing plans. Definitely a highlight was the little touches like complimentary port wine waiting in my room.

Bless your heart, y’all! The staff were kinder than a summer peach, makin’ us feel right at home. The breakfast had all kinds of goodies. don’t miss that delicious pumpkin jam! Our room was comfy, and the rain shower? Goodness gracious, I could’ve stayed in there all day!

Here’s what worked – and what didn’t

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of historic Porto. The breakfast offers a lovely selection of fresh items, and the staff was charming and welcoming throughout my stay.

Street noise could be disruptive at times, and the limited storage options in the room were less than ideal for longer stays. I also experienced some difficulties with the shower temperature controls.

Delightful turning-down service with treats.

I experienced several frustrations during my stay. The staff were somewhat disorganized, repeatedly asking for my room number at breakfast even while I was finishing my meal. Additionally, despite noting that we were celebrating our anniversary, there was no acknowledgment of this special occasion, which felt disappointing. Finally, the shower temperature was unpredictable, making for an uncomfortable experience after a long day.

pousada do porto was awesome! the location is just perfect for exploring the city, we walked everywhere. the breakfast was a big highlight too, so many tasty options. the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially maria who gave us great tips! our room had a nice little balcony which was a nice touch.

pousada do porto was amazin! the location is perfect right on rua das flores, super lively with shops and food. the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when recomendin places to eat. breakfast had so many options, like yummy pastries and fresh fruit, can't forget the port wine they left in the room. my room was comfy and cozy, just right for chillin after a long day out.

i did have a lil trouble with the shower temperature, it was either too hot or too cold. also, the coffee at breakfast wasn’t that great, i wish they had better options.
