My partner and I recently stayed at Quinta Da Foz in Foz do Arelho for a weekend getaway. We were blown away by the beauty of the unique old house and the warm hospitality of the owners. The tour of the house and stables, complete with horses and a friendly dog, was a highlight. Our spacious room had stunning distant sea views and we were provided with blankets to ensure a cozy night's sleep. The strong WiFi, ample hot water, and peaceful atmosphere made for a restful stay. We also enjoyed feeding the friendly flock of peacocks on the grounds. The breakfast basket offered one of the best breakfasts we've ever had, with delicious freshly baked breads and eggs made to order. We felt like valued guests in this extraordinary location, and will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

the warm welcome from Francisco, Anna, and Isabel made us feel right at home. the house itself is a beautiful blend of history and modern comfort, with spacious bedrooms and elegant classical decor. the guided tour provided fascinating stories about the house's rich history. the breakfast was a delightful spread of cheeses, cold meats, fresh bread, and various sweet and savory treats. the communal table allowed us to mingle with other guests, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. the Quinta Da Foz is a charming and inviting place to stay.

Our stay at Quinta Da Foz was incredible value for money. The room was beautiful and functional with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the stunning lagoon and beach. The staff treated us like family, with the most generous and kind host, Francesco, who showed us around the 16th century family home and shared its fascinating history. The presence of friendly dogs and charming peacocks added to the unique experience. Highly recommended!

Menu for breakfast could be improved with the option of hot milk for a good coffee.
