The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with picturesque rolling hills and vineyards as far as the eye could see. It provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic escape. the food at the hotel was top-notch, with delicious meals that showcased the flavors of the region. We particularly enjoyed the wine pairing with our dinner, which added an extra touch of elegance to our dining experience.

One downside during our stay was the difficult access to the hotel. We had to climb a steep hill to get there, which made it quite challenging, especially for someone with limited mobility.

the owner took us on a fantastic tour of the vineyards and winery, where we got to taste some amazing port. the property itself is stunning and has a nostalgic charm. the hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us with everything, from arranging taxis to providing recommendations. the room was peaceful and comfortable, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. On the final day, they even gave me a bagged breakfast to take with me when I had to leave early. I can't wait to come back and prebook dinner next time.
