We had a lovely surprise when we arrived at the hotel, as it used to be a convent. We booked a basic room but were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. the staff were very helpful and showed us around the beautiful antique-filled rooms, including a charming little chapel. Our room was comfortable and welcoming, with a very comfortable double bed and all the necessary amenities. the breakfast was delicious, with barista-made fresh coffee and a generous spread. the location of the hotel is fantastic, offering great views of the Tagus river and the surrounding valleys. the property itself is refined and sophisticated, with a rich history dating back to the 17th century. the grounds are well-maintained, with a pool and garden that provide a beautiful setting.

The location is great, as it is very close to the highway, making it convenient for exploring various Portuguese sites. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The service was attentive and the housekeeper was friendly. Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice. The swimming pool was a great facility to relax and cool off after a day of sightseeing.

Dinner was only available on weekends.

I also took advantage of their shuttle service, which was convenient and reliable. The hotel provided a warm welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The room amenities, such as the heating and air conditioning, made my stay even more comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the spacious sitting area and terrace, where I could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were also fantastic, offering delicious meals and refreshing drinks. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to my family and friends.

Friendly staff providing excellent service. Delicious breakfast with a variety of fresh options. Great value for money, would definitely return.

Spent Christmas at this lovely hotel with great food and friendly staff. Enjoyed the beautiful rural setting and the cozy atmosphere. the included continental breakfast had a good variety of food and the room was clean and comfortable.
