We had a fantastic stay at Placid Village. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment was spacious and immaculately clean, with all the amenities we needed. The air conditioning was excellent, and we loved the large balcony with its beautiful views. The large flat screen TV had a great selection of English channels. It was only a short 15-minute walk to town, and the bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The highlight was definitely the large pool. We can't wait to return!

The apartment was well equipped with all the necessary appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. the location was perfect for our romantic escape as it was peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. the balcony provided a lovely space to enjoy our breakfast in the morning and have a drink in the evening.

The TV could have had more channels and been upgraded to a more modern version. the pool bar lacked food options and variety in drinks.

The apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool area was peaceful and never crowded. The staff were excellent and there were plenty of activities and dining options nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at a great value apartment in a fantastic location. Placid Village was the perfect place for our group of 6, with plenty of space and all the modern appliances we needed. the manager was incredibly helpful and communication beforehand was smooth. the views from the apartment were lovely, and it was incredibly quiet, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We loved the amazing shower and the breakfast delivered to our front door each morning was bountiful and delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at Placid Village. It truly felt like a home away from home, with the added convenience of hotel services such as room cleaning, breakfast, and a helpful concierge. The apartment was exceptionally comfortable, well-decorated, and had three bedrooms which was perfect for our family. We loved the fact that it wasn't a sprawling resort and the location was ideal, with easy access to beautiful beaches. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine in the utility room. The apartment was clean and spacious, with comfortable bedrooms and a great view. The staff were friendly and made me feel at home. The location was perfect, with beautiful beaches and supermarkets nearby.

The location of the hotel is a bit further away from the center, but it is fine to walk into town. However, if you're doing it multiple times a day, it would probably be best to use a taxi for the way back. The hotel is also very close to supermarkets, making it convenient for guests to stock up on supplies easily. The hotel is also easy to get to lots of beautiful beaches, including a small beach that is a 15-minute walk from the apartments.

One negative aspect is that the pool is not heated.

We had a great experience at Placid Village! We arrived as last-minute reservations after our original plans fell through, but the woman who checked us in was kind and friendly. the apartment was well stocked with everything we needed and had two toilets, which was a bonus. the apartment itself was spacious and modern, with all the facilities in good working order. Communication with the property was excellent, and they provided clear instructions for picking up the keys. the pool was clean and enjoyable, and the location was convenient, although a car is needed for the beach and restaurants. it was an excellent stay and we plan to return with our family.

The view from our room was stunning, with beautiful scenery that added to the romantic ambiance of our escape. the location was excellent, just a short distance from town and the beach, providing easy access to local attractions. the size of the apartment was impressive, offering plenty of space for us to relax and enjoy our time together.

Despite repeatedly informing the reception, no changes were made and we were left with limited shower options. Lastly, the daily cleaning of the apartment felt unnecessary and somewhat intrusive, as we would have preferred more privacy during our romantic getaway.

our recent stay in carvoeiro at this morning flight exceeded expectations. spacious and nicely decorated flat with a wonderful view from the balcony. peaceful area but still walking distance to village and beaches. everything was clean and fresh. loved it!
