Everything was perfect - quiet, clean, super friendly staff, well organized. Amazing breakfast with the option to make a sandwich for later. The staff is really welcoming and always with a smile. Lots of parking spots available, no issues finding a spot. The guest house feels like a family, staff is exceptionally hospitable. The breakfast is simple but always fresh. Just a 10 min walk from the beach. Very quiet and calm. Everything is very clean. Convenient bus stop for local buses. A home away from home. Totally recommended.

I recently stayed at Residencial D. Joao III for a week while exploring the town. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the town center, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking was a breeze, as there was ample space right outside the hotel. Another plus was the reliable air conditioning in the room, keeping us cool during those hot summer days.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a large bed. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the main esplanade and close to the city center. We also appreciated the fact that there was a big supermarket nearby, making it convenient for us to buy anything we needed.

We had the opportunity to enjoy beautiful scenery and hiking trails near Residencial D. Joao III. The kids loved exploring the surroundings and we all had a great time bonding as a family while immersing ourselves in nature.

My children wanted a playground or kids' area at the hotel to keep them entertained.

The noise from neighboring rooms, particularly if they had their TVs on next to the bed wall. This could be a bit disruptive, especially for light sleepers.

The hotel had a great location, being close to the center and the beach at Sao Roque. The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They even provided free bottles of mineral water daily. The continental breakfast served was basic but enjoyable.

The shower was a little tricky because the water easily leaks out on the sides.
