The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, allowing us to stay in a superior room with our dog. They treated our dog like family and even let us bring him to breakfast. The on-site parking was convenient, allowing us to leave our car after check-out. The heating system was amazing, the bathroom was new and clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with free pasteis de nata. They also stored our luggage when we arrived early. The hotel had a cozy and modern design, with a lovely vibe. I had a great stay and will definitely return in the future. The hotel was also pet-friendly and even had a basement room for pets. There was a beautiful park just in front of the hotel. The room was much larger than expected and had a stunning Victorian plasterwork ceiling. The personnel were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. The location was perfect, within walking distance of many attractions. The easy access to the freeway and the on-site parking were a major plus.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a great shower. It had all the necessary amenities and even a balcony with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and the hotel had a nice atmosphere.

The breakfast was not well-maintained. the hotel was a bit out of the way from the main sights, requiring a 20-30 minute walk.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and accommodated any requests we had. They even provided us with an umbrella during the rainy weather. The hotel facilities were excellent, including free parking and a delicious breakfast. The location was perfect, as it was a 5-minute walk from the metro and buses were conveniently located right outside the door. It was close to the center of Porto, allowing us easy access to all the tourist attractions. it was a clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

The breakfast included fruits and national cookies. The receptionist had a great sense of humor. The hotel upgraded us for free. The terrace in the superior room was a nice touch.

The rooms on the 4th floor were perfect for family or friends, especially with the lovely noise from the street. The historic mansion added a touch of charm but the highlight was definitely the buffet breakfast in the dining room.

Who needs a good value for money when you can pay 450 euros for a noisy room? Money well spent!

We stayed at The Rex for a few nights during our trip to Porto. The hotel is a beautiful old building located in a quiet area with off street parking behind a locked gate. We were thrilled that our dog was welcome, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was perfect, a short walk to Trindade Metro station and close to the town center. The hotel's architecture was stunning, and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The service was exceptional, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner on the terrace. a delightful stay.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The rooms on the 4th floor were perfect for my family, if we wanted to play hide-and-seek. The buffet breakfast was served in a dining room, where I could have an intimate meal with my own reflection.

Oh, what a shame that the interior design didn't match! It really added to the "dirty and old" charm of the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the center but still in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful views over the park. The mattress was just right, providing a great night's sleep. I appreciated having both AC and windows for fresh air.
