I stayed at Marmoris Palace for a few nights and it exceeded my expectations. The room was enormous and filled with luxurious touches like marble floors and antique furnishings. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the views from the breakfast room were stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like part of the family. The swimming pool was a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The rustic Alentejo restaurant they recommended served a lovely meal. One of the unexpected highlights was watching the peacocks roam the courtyard and seeing the illuminated Moorish Castle from my bed at night. it was a truly memorable stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location of the hotel, tucked away in the forest but still just a 2-minute walk from the historical center of Sintra. The atmosphere in the hotel was quiet, quaint, and oozing with old-world charm. We loved the "vibe" that this historic house turned hotel provided. The views of the mountains from the breakfast/dining room were breathtaking. Speaking of breakfast, the spread was delicious with options like eggs and pancakes to start your day off right. We also thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and happy hour events arranged by the staff. Our room, although in the contemporary quarters separate from the main chateau, was luxurious, spacious, and offered a peaceful retreat. We also appreciated the convenience of on-site parking, as we traveled by car.

The only drawback we encountered was the lack of dinner options available at the hotel. While they did offer omelets and sandwiches for purchase throughout the day, it would have been convenient to have the option to enjoy a meal on-site.

The hotel is in an amazing location with a stunning view. Close to town but still secluded. Carlos, the host, was excellent in giving suggestions for walks and restaurants.

The breakfast spread was fabulous and the staff were excellent, making us feel important. The location was great, near the main area to walk. We also enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool.

The swimming pool was so over-chlorinated it actually burnt our throats and ruined our experience. there was nothing to dislike, but this one negative aspect was a big letdown for us.

It may be difficult to get a taxi due to the hotel's location, but this is out of their control.

The sun terrace provided the perfect spot to lounge on sun loungers, take in the views of the stunning backdrop, and delight in the garden area. Breakfast was delightful, with special diet menus and ample choices of continental and hot options. The room exclusive advantages were the highlight of my stay, including private facilities and in-room breakfast.

The venue's only minor issue was a little noise in the room due to the elevator being located beside it. However, this did not detract from the hotel's overall experience, and I would highly recommend staying here.
