We were thrilled with the penthouse upgrade! Breakfast was a highlight—loved the variety. Only downside was noise during peak hours. Would definitely stay again!

Inconsistent hot water availability made my showers a gamble!!! The noise from the street made relaxation impossible. Room layouts felt cramped, and I struggled with limited storage space for my suitcase!!! Maintenance issues like leaky showers should be addressed!!!

i booked a premium room but was horrified to find a sewage smell, which they did fix, but not without a €50 refund for downgrading to a standard room. also, sleep was impossible due to the street noise, and i expected a complimentary gesture—i’m not just anyone, after all. almost considered a good review, but just couldn't.

This place suits me perfectly, providing free Wi-Fi, a bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, staff helped me find my way to a nearby attraction, making it memorable. I recommend trying their welcome drink! I'm coming back for a business trip.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the river and near Balleteatro, which the kids loved. Breakfast until noon was a lifesaver for our large family. We also appreciated the delicious baked apples during our stay.

We stayed for 5 nights and the location couldn't be better. It's just a short walk to the river and you're surrounded by great restaurants and attractions. One morning, we were surprised when the staff brought brownies and a candle to celebrate my nephew's birthday, it was such a cute gesture. The room was just the right size for the two of us and the cleanliness was on point.

the editory has a fantastic location, just a short walk from the river tourist area. the breakfast is incredible, open until noon, with high-quality options and friendly staff ready to help with special orders. i loved the fresh orange juice and the spacious breakfast area with its beautiful mural. daily housekeeping was top-notch too.

The location was fantastic, perfect for exploring local cafés and the Douro river. While the staff were incredibly helpful, especially with our luggage issue, the air conditioning left much to be desired. Try the associated restaurant for dinner. the food was a delightful surprise!

The location was perfect—close to the river and attractions. I especially loved the modern room with all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, which made my stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety, including gluten-free options! I highly recommend this charming hotel!

The breakfast spread included homemade cakes and surprises like baked apple with cinnamon. Our bathroom had a great selection of toiletries. However, the room had a slight damp smell. I'd definitely stay here again!
