We stayed at Vistadouro for a relaxing break in the Duoro Valley. The host, Pedro, was very welcoming and resolved any issues we had. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the river. It was conveniently located near the train station, bus station, and taxis, with plenty of restaurants and wine bars nearby.

100% Recommend this hotel.

The value for money at Vistadouro was excellent, with spacious, well-equipped and beautifully furnished rooms. The location was perfect, with a stunning view of the Douro river and easy access to restaurants and wine-tasting places. The host was fantastic, providing helpful advice and making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free.

The breakfast selection could have been more varied.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful area. Great view from the balcony and lots of space with rooms that have their own bathrooms. Easy key handover with English or Portuguese speaking contact. Perfect for backpackers.

My solo trip to the Douro Valley was made even more enjoyable by my stay at this cozy apartment. With its private en suite bathrooms in each room, I had all the comfort and privacy I needed. The breathtaking views of the Douro River from the sheltered balcony were the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. The well-equipped and spotlessly clean rooms provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The cramped showers and slow-drying towels were a minor inconvenience.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment! The cleanliness was top-notch and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Each room had its own bathroom, which was so convenient for our group of friends. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the river. The location was perfect as well, being very close to both the train station and the center of town. We could easily walk everywhere, including a nearby vineyard for a port tasting. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for restaurants and making sure we had everything we needed.
