We had the most wonderful stay at this hidden gem of a guesthouse. The room we stayed in, The Quarter Deck, had a balcony with breathtaking views of the bay. The nautical decor added a charming touch to the room. The breakfast was absolutely superb, with a variety of delicious options and freshly baked cakes that were still warm. The staff, particularly Beauty and Elise, were incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The owners, Therese and Ludwig, were lovely and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. The overall atmosphere of the guesthouse was warm and welcoming, making us feel like we were staying with friends. Despite the small drawback of some noise from the kitchen early in the morning, our experience was unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a memorable vacation.

We stayed at A Boat House for a week and it was an incredible experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the upper deck room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished with stunning views of the mountains and sea. Breakfast was delicious and the indoor pool was a nice bonus. It's also conveniently located just a short drive from Boulders Beach. We highly recommend this unique and charming hotel.

Great view from our room and the breakfast was good with a variety of options provided. It was also close to some popular tourist attractions and located in a convenient spot for our weekend getaway. We also received a warm welcome from the staff upon our arrival.

The room was not as clean as we expected, and there was a musty smell that lingered throughout our stay. the bathroom amenities provided were sparse, and we had to request additional toiletries.

We had a fantastic stay at this place. The location is amazing, with a beautiful view of the bay overlooking the harbor. It was a bit far from downtown, but with a car, it was easy to get to Simonstown. The service was excellent, with housekeeping and laundry services available. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they even offered a shuttle service for a fee. The room amenities were great, with ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The mini-bar was convenient, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace or patio with the garden furniture. The room was clean and comfortable, with free toiletries, a kitchen, and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a wide variety of choices and special diet menus available. we would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
