Ammazulu African Palace is a great quirky place to stay, full of atmosphere and unique in its appearance. The house is decorated with great attention to detail, with an amazing collection of interesting articles. The creativity and value of the collection is mind-blowing, making it an artwork of note. The staff is very friendly and helpful, with a host who went above and beyond to assist us even with a first aid matter. The location in the Kloof is stunning, with the potential for lovely strolls around the grounds and a view of the gorge. The facilities are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-stocked with linen and towels.

The decor at this unique hotel is absolutely stunning. I was in awe of the recycled items used to create the artwork and sculptures. The views of the kranskloof gorge were truly magical. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for a one-of-a-kind experience.

In love with the Palace, I was captivated by its unique African art and stunning location overlooking the picturesque surroundings. The veranda provided a tranquil space to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. The room was spacious and adorned with exquisite African woodcrafted pieces. The service was attentive and the breakfast was delicious. It felt like being in a tropical jungle in KZN. However, the weak WiFi connection was a minor inconvenience.

The architect-owner's African and Asian art collection is impressive. Spacious rooms with unique interlinking bathrooms. Stunning blend of African and Asian decor. Convenient spa treatments in-room. a memorable and privileged experience.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The architecture is unique and the African and Asian artifacts throughout the hotel are amazing. The view of the nearby gorge is breathtaking. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for those wanting a peaceful escape with top-quality restaurants just a short drive away. And breakfast was delicious!

The air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly, which was a bit disappointing, but thankfully the fan helped cool us down. The only other downside was that we couldn't open a window or door at night due to the fear of monkeys.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel truly pampered. The luxurious spa and wellness centre offered excellent body treatments, including a full body massage and beauty treatment, which left us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with exclusive amenities that truly exceeded our expectations. The private facilities, including the treatment room, were a lovely touch, providing a truly luxurious and exclusive experience.

While our stay was almost perfect, the only minor issue we experienced was with the slow draining basin in the bathroom. However, this did not detract from our overall experience at this hotel, as we were completely blown away by the beautiful décor and relaxing atmosphere.

Our stay at the African Palace was truly exceptional. The value for money was outstanding, with a well-appointed and spacious room filled with great amenities. The location was perfect, allowing us to experience Africa right on our doorstep. The staff, especially Alta and Martin, were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could be improved, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.
