Lovely house with garden, equipped rooms with fridge, kettle and tea. Outside area to relax. Helpful hosts. Walking distance to the beach with stunning sunset. Enjoyable stay in Bloubergstrand.

On arrival, everything seemed okay. The location was convenient, close to shops and restaurants in the central area of Bloubergstrand. We didn't need to worry about transportation as taxis were easily accessible. The room was clean and comfortable, with a super comfortable bed and electric blankets to keep us warm on a cold and wet Cape Town night. The bathroom was well-maintained and we were provided with everything we needed. The service from the friendly owner was top-notch, making us feel welcomed and taken care of.

The view from the room was not as expected.

The room had a fridge and kettle, which made it easy to store drinks and enjoy a cup of tea. It was also conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and had a nice outside area to relax. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for local activities.

While the room was generally clean, there were some areas that needed attention, such as the carpets and walls. the lack of toiletries and no self-access was a negative surprise.

Our stay at Be My Guest Lodge was excellent. The electric blankets on the bed were a lifesaver during the cold and wet weather. The comfort of the bed was exactly what we needed after a long drive. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed and supported throughout our stay. The location of the lodge was convenient, with easy access to the town centre and beach. The garden/patio area at the back of the lodge was beautiful and provided a peaceful retreat. The breakfast provided exceeded our expectations and we felt well taken care of. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a slightly dark room and noisy neighbors on occasion, our overall experience at Be My Guest Lodge was fantastic. We felt safe and looked after, and would definitely return and recommend the lodge to our friends and family. it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
