We recently stayed at the Belmond Hotel in Cape Town for 5 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is situated at the foot of Table Mountain, close to the Table Mountain Cableway, city centre and V&A Waterfront. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was beautifully decorated with classic style and had a balcony overlooking the stunning pool and garden. We particularly enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast with its delicious sweet pastries. The hotel manager even took the time to personally greet us at reception, adding a special touch to our stay.

The hotel grounds were exquisite, especially during an early morning walk filled with the aromatic scent of flowers. Highly recommended.

The wheelchair access to the pool was poorly designed and inconvenient. It involved taking two separate elevators and navigating a steep ramp near the restaurant, which was impossible to do with a wheelchair.

The location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The room was modern and cozy, with all the amenities I needed. The complimentary breakfast at Oasis was delicious, and the bar, Planet, had a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel grounds were like an oasis in the city, with beautiful flowers and decor. I had a fantastic experience at the Belmond Hotel and would highly recommend it.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including made-to-order eggs, freshly cooked pancakes and waffles, and a great selection of fresh fruits, yogurt, and bakery products. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. the service, comfort, and amenities provided by this hotel lived up to its five-star status.

The value for money at Belmond Hotel was exceptional. The room was amazing, we even got upgraded for our honeymoon, and the location was perfect with easy access to bars and restaurants. The staff treated us like family, they were friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home.

The breakfast selection could be improved, but there are plenty of decent eating places nearby.

The High Tea at the Mount Nelson was a highlight, with a wide selection of teas and delicious savory and sweet treats. The spa was also a luxurious retreat, offering massages and manicures in a serene setting. Despite a few minor issues, the overall stay was highly recommendable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and ambiance.

I had an incredible stay at a charming garden cottage with my own private patio. The hotel is conveniently located, only a 20-minute drive from the airport. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options.
