This hotel offered exclusive amenities and fulfilled all luxurious needs. The sumptuous bathroom and comfortable bed were complemented by the friendly and helpful staff. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious menu and the owner even shared the hotel's interesting history. The peaceful environment and safe parking made for a relaxing stay.

The only minor issue was difficulty adjusting the temperature of the shower, though the room also had a perfect bath. Despite being close to the road, the heavy drapes and lush carpets provided ample sound damping for a peaceful night's sleep.

The hotel offered a great getaway from the city bustle. The location was near a beautiful river and mountain range––just perfect for a romantic escape. The receptionist was very welcoming and provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine and a box of chocolates upon check-in. Another bonus was the onsite restaurant, which served delicious steaks and burgers.

Our room was not up-to-par. The air conditioning was not working, causing the room to be uncomfortably warm.

The Border Hotel in Jan Kempdorp exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with spacious and well-appointed rooms. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious menu and the kitchen was open until 8:30pm. The bathroom was sumptuous, featuring a fantastic shower, and the rooms were impeccably clean with comfortable beds. it was the perfect place to rest during our journey, and the owner even shared the fascinating history of the hotel's location on the border.
