boskloofswemgat exceeded our expectations once again during our recent stay in clanwilliam. the location, right on the river with mountains as a backdrop, was incredibly tranquil and picturesque. the cottage was clean, well-appointed, and had its own private swimming spot and jacuzzi, making it the perfect romantic hideaway.

Gravel road was rough for small cars.

We had a fantastic time at Boskloof Swemgat Villa. the peacefulness of the place and the beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing experience. the house itself was neat and clean, with beautiful decorations that added to the overall ambiance. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bonus of an electric blanket was a nice touch. It was refreshing to be in a place without WiFi and TV, allowing us to fully disconnect and enjoy our surroundings. the privacy and silence, with the other houses spaced far apart, made for a peaceful stay. We particularly loved the ability to walk and braai, and the river nearby would be perfect for swimming in the summer. the facilities, including the outdoor jacuzzi, were excellent, and the kitchen was well equipped. Greta, the manager/receptionist, was lovely and very helpful. All in all, Boskloof Swemgat Villa provided a peaceful and relaxing experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
