The ambiance was delightful. I was welcomed with champagne by friendly staff before enjoying an exquisite dinner with wine pairing at the on-site restaurant. Cozy linens made the stay remarkably comfortable.

Although the location was excellent, my room lacked a window which dampened the experience. Additionally, WiFi was inconsistent, causing some frustration during my stay, especially for work.

The dining room at Helenas felt uninviting!!! It was nearly empty and freezing, requiring us to ask for heating!!! Plus, the regular load-shedding was frustrating, especially since there didn’t seem to be a generator in sight!!!

Breakfast exceeded expectations with a delightful mix of fresh pastries and hearty options. Dining at the on-site restaurant was a standout experience, highlighting exquisite local flavors that complemented the quality wines. Every detail, including a homemade cookie left on my pillow, added a charming touch to my stay.

We were greeted by warm smiles the minute we stepped out of our car and the staff really took care of everything from valet service to planning our day. Sitting on the street-side verandah with a glass of complimentary Prosecco, watching the town bustle around me was a highlight I won’t forget anytime soon.

yes it wasn’t exactly cheap, but the experience justified the price.

Request a room on the higher floor for quieter surroundings and better views, as some ground-floor rooms open directly to shared spaces.

Got treated like royalty right off the bat, with complimentary bubbles at check-in. My room was cozy, with a lovely view, and that breakfast spread? Fresh pastries galore! Dined by the pool and every bite was a delight. The staff were like family, warm and inviting. Just felt like pure bliss!

The location is perfect for dining and shopping. The in-house restaurant offers exceptional meals. Unfortunately, street noise can be quite loud at night.

coopmanhuijs is such a cute little hotel with amazing staff! felt super welcome the moment we got there, with bubbly on arrival. loved the decor and our comfy room, and the breakfast was so good with fresh pastries and all that. the restaurant has fab food, too. plus, it's right in the heart of stellenbosch, close to shops and stuff.

location's perfect for hitting up shops or grabbing a quick bite. plus, valet parking is free and super convenient. they even had an espresso machine in the room, which was a game changer for my mornings!

the street performers at night were quite loud, but the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. my room had a lovely view, and the bathroom had heated floors which was a treat! breakfast was the best with fresh options.

the street noise can get kinda loud at night which was a little annoying. also, parking was a bit tight and could be inconvenient at times.
